Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data LuxiIPTV collects, why we collect it, and the controls you have. In short: we collect basic usage data and anything you choose to send us, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google AdSense, and we never sell your personal information.
This policy describes how [PLACEHOLDER: LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] ("LuxiIPTV," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit luxiiptv.com (the "Site"). LuxiIPTV publishes honest, hands-on guides to legal streaming, cord-cutting, and the devices that make it work. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
If you do not agree with this policy, please stop using the Site. For any privacy question, email us at hello@luxiiptv.com or use our contact page.
1. Who We Are & Scope
LuxiIPTV is published by the business below, which acts as the data controller for your personal information. For any privacy request, the fastest route is the email address listed here.
- Business / Controller: [PLACEHOLDER: LEGAL BUSINESS NAME]
- Mailing address: [PLACEHOLDER: BUSINESS ADDRESS]
- Email: hello@luxiiptv.com
- Jurisdiction of establishment: [PLACEHOLDER: JURISDICTION / COUNTRY]
This policy applies to the Site only. It does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services we link to (including the streaming services, hardware retailers, and software we review). Those third parties have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.
2. Information We Collect
We collect two kinds of data: information you give us directly, and information your browser sends automatically. We do not collect sensitive data, and we never sell what we collect. The three groups below cover everything the Site gathers.
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Email newsletter sign-ups: your email address, and optionally a first name, when you subscribe to our mailing list.
- Comments: your name, email address, website (optional), comment content, and the IP address and browser user-agent string used to post (which help with spam detection).
- Contact form / direct emails: your name, email address, and any information you choose to include in your message.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring/exit pages, pages viewed, time on page, and clickstream data.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 4.
- Log files: our hosting provider and our CDN/security provider, Cloudflare, automatically record standard server log information for security, performance, and abuse-prevention purposes.
2.3 Information we do NOT collect
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as health, biometric, or financial-account information), and we do not sell your personal information. We also do not knowingly collect information from children (see Section 9).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to run the Site, send the newsletter you asked for, answer your messages, measure traffic, and show ads. We also use it to keep the Site secure and to meet our legal duties. We never use it to identify you for unrelated purposes.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its content.
- To send you our email newsletter and updates you requested (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To respond to your comments, questions, and support requests.
- To measure and analyze traffic and engagement (e.g., via Google Analytics 4).
- To display advertising and measure ad performance through our advertising partners.
- To detect, prevent, and address security incidents, spam, fraud, and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Legal bases for processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)
- Consent: for non-essential cookies, analytics, advertising, and newsletter sign-ups. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests: for securing the Site, preventing abuse, and basic, privacy-respecting measurement, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose data to comply with applicable law.
4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage) for the following categories:
- Strictly necessary: required for core Site functionality, security (Cloudflare), and remembering your cookie preferences. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the Site (Google Analytics 4).
- Advertising: used by our ad partners to serve and measure ads (see Section 6).
- Affiliate: used to attribute referrals to merchants when you click an affiliate link (see Section 7).
Where required by law, we request your consent before setting non-essential cookies, using our cookie-consent banner powered by Complianz. You can change or withdraw your choices anytime through the banner or your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality.
5. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors interact with the Site. GA4 may collect data such as pages visited, session duration, approximate location (derived from a truncated/anonymized IP where available), device, and referral source. This data helps us improve our content.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by declining analytics cookies in our consent banner. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Advertising Partners
We display advertising served by Google AdSense, our single active ad partner. AdSense may use cookies, web beacons, and device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. We do not run any other ad network on the Site.
- Google AdSense: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings. See how Google uses data at Google's partner policy.
- EEA, UK, and Swiss visitors: we ask for consent before serving personalized ads, and Google relies on the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework signals passed from our consent banner.
You can also manage interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance, Network Advertising Initiative, and Your Online Choices (EU).
7. Affiliate Links & Cookies
LuxiIPTV participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates Program and programs for VPNs, streaming devices, and legal streaming services. When you click an affiliate link, the merchant or its affiliate network may set a cookie that identifies the referral as coming from us. If you make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These cookies typically record the click and any resulting purchase for attribution; they do not give us access to your payment details. See our full Affiliate Disclosure for details.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers / processors: hosting, CDN and security (Cloudflare), our email-marketing platform (MailerLite), analytics (Google Analytics 4), and advertising (Google AdSense), each acting on our behalf under contract.
- Legal & safety: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of LuxiIPTV, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, email us at hello@luxiiptv.com and we will delete it.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above: newsletter data until you unsubscribe or request deletion; comments for as long as the post is published unless you request removal; and analytics/log data per the retention settings of the relevant provider. We then delete or anonymize it.
11. International Data Transfers
Our service providers may process data in the United States or other countries that may not offer the same level of data protection as your home country. Where we transfer data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy/data-privacy framework.
12. Your Privacy Rights
You can access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and you can opt out of tracking at any time. Your exact rights depend on where you live. The sections below cover the EEA, UK, and California, and they apply no matter where you live.
12.1 EEA / UK (GDPR & UK GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data; the right to data portability; and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
12.2 California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. Some advertising cookie activity may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA; you may opt out using our cookie banner or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor where required.
To exercise any right, email hello@luxiiptv.com with your request. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where permitted.
13. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including HTTPS/TLS encryption, Cloudflare security, and access controls, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
